iRobot Roomba Error Codes

Left Wheel Dropped — the left wheel is not detecting the floor or is stuck in a dropped position.

Main Brushes Jammed — the main brush assembly has stalled due to a blockage.

Left Wheel Stall — the left wheel motor is not spinning.

Cliff Sensors Dirty — the cliff detection sensors are dirty and Roomba refuses to move to avoid a perceived drop.

Right Wheel Stall — the right wheel motor is not spinning.

Vacuum Motor Stall — the suction motor has stalled or is not operating.

Bumper Stuck — the front bumper is jammed in a compressed position.

Bin Not Detected — Roomba cannot detect the dust bin is installed.

Bin Full — the dust bin is full and needs to be emptied.

Side wheel stuck — one of the side wheels is not rotating or is stuck.

Main brushes are stuck — dirt or hair is preventing the main brush roll from spinning.

Left wheel or right wheel is spinning too fast (not enough traction).

Cliff sensors are dirty or malfunctioning — Roomba thinks it is on a cliff and will not move.

Vacuum suction motor is blocked or has stalled.

Bin missing or not properly installed.

Reattach the bin and filter — the machine detects the dust bin is not properly attached.

Right Wheel Dropped — the right wheel sensor is detecting a drop or the wheel is hanging.

Side Wheel Stall — a side brush or side wheel is not turning freely.

Side Brush Stall — the side brush motor is stalled.

Bare Floor Limit Reached — Roomba has moved off a rug onto a surface it should not clean.

Internal Communication Error — the internal circuits are not communicating correctly.

Navigation Failure — Roomba has lost its ability to navigate and cannot complete its cleaning path.

Navigation Problem — Roomba cannot navigate past a specific obstacle or map area.
